A day at the Zoo!

We decided to get out of the house today and enjoy the beautiful "winter" weather and head to the zoo. Haylee was WAY excited and wanted to see a gorilla, (our zoo hasn't had a gorilla in years) the closest we could come to was an orangutang.
Funny thing watching the silly orangutang's, the mom was playing with the baby and the big daddy was on the other side loungin when all of a sudden he gets up and went over the the mom and baby and stated playing with the little guy. The mom automatically went to where the big daddy had been laying and laid down. I thought that was so funny like they were tag teaming watching the little guy, and the one above was just sitting up on top not moving except for his eyes just watching everyone. Anyways...

We also hit the petting zoo (yucky the germy goats). Haylee was scared but kinda warmed up to the idea. Taelor was running around trying to pet EVERY single goat.

Here Haylee was driving the tractor TJ was her backseat driver, I was their seatbelt.

The tortoise's were pretty cool they were out eating.

Then we found this cute little thing we decided to bring home with us, we hear the redheaded type are rare.

The Giraffe's

and rhinoceros's

and last but not least the Zebra's

it was a great way to end the "holiday's". This week Haylee starts back at preschool, dance and cooking class, so we are on a "schedule" again, kind of.

XOXO
