We started off last week with a great family get together... well a mini reunion on the Gordon side so that we all could meet a cousin that had been placed for adoption some 38 years ago. This was a fun experience and what a joy it is to have another cousin. Welcome to the family Mary Beth.
This is the group minus a few.
Then we were off to Disneyland/California Adventure for the girls birthday's. Little did I know it was Spring Break there...note to self check out spring break dates before planning a trip to Disneyland. It was probabaly the busiest I have ever seen it.
Here Taelor was riding the Dumbo ride with me.
and here she is trying to move it up and down. Wayne had Haylee in his Dumbo. (my dad took those pics... I don't have them yet.)
Haylee was so excited to see the castle where the princesses live she said.
I asked her what her favorite part of the trip was and I got a list of things but meeting Minnie was at the top.
Haylee did really well on the Tea Pots with her daddy.
I have coutless pics of her dancing. In this one she is dancing at the parade...she was also able to go out with the people doing the parade and dance a little.
She really wanted her picture with Woody...he blew her a kiss and she blew one right back.
After 2 days of the Disney excitment we picked Erika up (she flew in to go to the New kids concert) here we are at Fred's in Huntington Beach.... a family favorite.
Here are the parents.
and the husband great pose ha ha
I think my girls were born die hard beach bums. Taelor was covering her legs in sand and also tried to enjoy eating some sea shells and sand yuck! Haylee thinks you are not at the beach until you are in the sand.
After a few hours taking pictures, playing, walking the pier and eating ice cream, Erika and I got ready for some gIrL tImE at the New Kids concert.
It was at the Pallidium in Hollywood. This place was pretty small and standing room only. I guess girls had been waiting since Thursday to get the floor spots (they were limited). We went up to the balcony and were singing and dancing with Jabbacowitz (seriously I have no idea how to spell it). Anyways a guy walks up and give us wristbands to get us on the floor :) Wow that's two New Kids concerts in a row with better seats WOO HOO we had a blast ended up a few rows from the front off to the side.
Here we are ready to go!
and here are a few pics
The concert after party was at the House of Blues and look who we ran into....Justin Guarini from American Idol Season One (the flash didn't go off so the pic is a bit dark)
I call this my paparazzi pic of Donnie, we didn't go into the after party cause most peeps had left by the time we got there and the place was getting ready to shut down but here was Donnie leaving...just one big bodygaurd away ha ha
We lost our voices a bit but had a blast.
The next day we went back to Huntington to another family favorite spot Sugar Shack for breakfast. Here are the girls smiling away.
We decided to take this cruzier out we had all of us in there the girls loved it. Dad, Wayne, Erika and I were the peddler's... well we were suppose to be but a few got caught "resting their legs" ha ha Haylee kept yelling faster, I was like yeah easy for you to say. It was a great way for all of us to get around and enjoy the sea breeze.
So cute! There arms resting on the back of the seat.
Here we were stopping for a drink and the bongo guys were playing there bongos and Haylee had to get up and dance....again!!
Tae just enjoyed being outside.
I think we all had a good time. I know I have like 300 pictures as proof (no not all concert pics either) :)
